Really fun
There are almost always other dog there for ours to play with. The regulars are very welcoming to new comers. There is a Facebook page where folks can post questions about when are folks coming out today, ask for/share dog related info/questions, let folks know about upcoming events at the park. The folks have several events there every year, like puppy bowl parry on Super Bowl Sunday, picnics, etc.
The city of Ramsey is very supportive of the park. They are working on adding a pavilion. They also monitor the Facebook page, so if someone posts that a gate latch isn't working or the bag dispenser is empty, the city sends someone out to resolve it.
We have really enjoyed taking our puppy here for socializing. Most of the people I've encountered here are friendly and inviting. Other dogs are generally well behaved except for some energetic jumpy dogs who occasionally want to chase our little girl who is still a little fearful of other dogs, it's still no reason I wouldn't go back. It's fun to watch our little lab acting so proud in the middle of all the big lab/lab mix dogs! The only issue I have is finding some piles of dog poop that owners neglected to pick up.
All in all, I think the humans have as much fun socializing there as the dogs.
